A construction company in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Accountant. In this role, you will handle a full set of accounts, conduct monthly closings, and perform reconciliations. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma or Degree in Accounting and at least 2-3 years of experience. Familiarity with accounting software is essential. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently are required. This position offers a chance to manage financial activities in a dynamic environment.
Handle full set of accounts, overseeing day-to-day operational matters
Conduct monthly closing of accounts to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations to match internal records with bank statements
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, banks and relevant government authorities.
Prepare, issue, and record sales invoices and other accounting documents in compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements.
Manage monthly collections, follow up on timely payments, and address identified issues.
Process and verify supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper authorization
Perform any other related duties that may be assigned by the superior from time to time.
