Job Summary

Duopharma Biotech Berhad is seeking an experienced Accountant to oversee financial matters for Duopharma Marketing Sdn Bhd, Duopharma Manufacturing (Bangi) Sdn Bhd and Duopharma Consumer Healthcare Sdn Bhd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily operations in Finance department.
  • Support in month end and year end financial closings and other reporting activities.
  • Provide operations advice and support to internal clients.
  • Ensure timely preparation of annual statutory financial statements and supporting workings for regulatory reporting in compliance with MFRS and other regulatory requirements.
  • Ensuring all transactions adhere to LOA and policies of the Group.
  • Assist in oversee the operations of the Finance Department, setting goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be meet.
  • Preparation of monthly MPR and analyse the financial performance.
  • Involve in month end and year end closings, ensure all transactions are recorded in the correct period.
  • Assist in preparation of Board Paper to be submitted to Company Secretary for the preparation of Board Resolution.
  • Verify and approve suppliers’ payment prepared by Finance team in the form of TT/cheque/online banking for depo branches.
  • Review and approve EP forms submitted by each department and ensure their CAPEX spending is within the approved CAPEX budget.
  • Assist in performing cost run for the company. Review BOM (Bill of Material) of all finished goods to ensure manufacturing activities are updated accurately.
  • Support in internal and external audits and respond to auditors’ queries.
  • Assist to handle and ensure timely submission of annual tax returns, tax estimates, withholding tax returns and transfer pricing requirements.
  • Assist in tax audit and collate data requested by the Inland Revenue Board and liaise with the tax agent to ensure a smooth process of a tax audit.
  • Preparation of quarterly and yearly deferred tax computations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or any professional certificates relevant to

Experience
  • 2 to 3 years working experience in audit firms.
  • 5 years working experience in commercial companies.
