A manufacturing company based in Malaysia is seeking a qualified finance professional to manage costing activities, financial reporting, and compliance-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have a degree in accounting and 3-5 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include supporting Account Payable operations, ensuring compliance with company tax regulations, and engaging in audits. This role is critical for maintaining financial discipline and supporting overall finance activities within the company.
Handle Costing activities inclusive of monthly closing of financial reporting and embedding internal controls into financial closing processes.
Provide accounting and financial analysis support.
Involve in Account Payable operations in ensuring silent running of Accounts Payable operations, inclusive smooth, timely and accurate capturing and processing of invoices, payment, reconciliation, aging and reporting.
Handle company secretarial matters and ensure compliance.
Ensure compliance of company tax (corporate tax, withholding tax, sales & service tax, etc).
Involve in quarterly and yearly audit and internal audit for responsible areas.
Provide support and participate in all Finance activities.
Support and take up ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Maintain strong internal control in compliance with financial discipline of the company.
Participate, contribute and support Company’s HSSE initiative as necessary to ensure a safe workplace.
Degree or professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA & etc) with Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) membership.
3-5 years post degree working experience in accounting related fields.
Good financial, taxation and management reporting knowledge with exposure in manufacturing environment.
Knowledge or working experience in SAP modules will be an added advantage.
