A financial solutions company based in Malaysia seeks a finance professional to manage bank relations and oversee financial transactions. Responsibilities include soliciting financing, developing cash flow statements, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. 1. Bank Soliciting & Facility Management
Identify, solicit, and secure financing from banks and financial institutions.
Prepare and submit loan applications, financial projections, and required documentation to financiers.
Develop and manage relationships with banks, trustees, and rating agencies.
Monitor and manage existing loans, including interest calculation, repayment scheduling, and compliance reporting.
Oversee and manage Sukuk issuance and reporting, ensuring compliance with trustee and rating agency requirements.
Develop and maintain projected cash flow statements to support financing decisions.
Conduct financial due diligence for loan applications and refinancing opportunities.
Establish and monitor Project Cash Flow (PCF) accounts for financing-specific projects.
Ensure compliance with Sukuk terms, including periodic reporting to trustees and rating agencies.
Review and analyze Sukuk drawdowns, payments, and financial performance.
Monitor fund utilization to ensure alignment with project requirements.
Manage refinancing and restructuring of Sukuk and other financial instruments.
Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to evaluate project viability.
Assess investment opportunities and prepare financial projections.
Perform company valuation, including discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis and comparable company analysis.
Identify potential risks in financial transactions and propose mitigation strategies.
Support strategic decision-making by providing data-driven financial insights.
Oversee floating cash and Sukuk cash placements to optimize returns.
Ensure liquidity planning aligns with project and company needs.
Develop short-term and long-term cash flow management strategies.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, loan covenants, and Sukuk requirements.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Liaise with auditors, regulators, and financial institutions for reporting requirements.
Monitor financial agreements and facility covenants to ensure compliance with terms.
Prepare briefing notes and financial reports for senior management.
Conduct Industry research and benchmarking to support corporate strategy.
Evaluate new business opportunities and provide financial recommendations.
Job Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Studies or a related field.
Basic in financial modeling, risk analysis, and company valuation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
1-2 years of experience in corporate finance, banking, or financial management.
