Job summary

A leading environmental services company in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced Accountant to manage full accounts, invoicing, collections, and ensure compliance with statutory regulations. Candidates must hold a diploma or degree in Accounting or Finance and have at least 2 years of relevant experience. A proactive mindset, ability to work independently, and transport are essential. Experience in the waste management sector is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in the waste management industry is an added advantage.
• Must have own transport.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts including AP, AR & GL.
• Manage invoicing, collections, payments, and reconciliations.
• Support reporting, audit, tax, and statutory compliance.

Education

Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Job description

Handle full set of accounts including AP, AR & GL

Prepare journals, accruals, and month-end closing

Support reporting, audit, tax, and statutory compliance

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and ad-hoc finance tasks

Requirements

Strong knowledge of full set accounting

Able to work independently with a proactive mindset

Occasionally required to travel to Bukit Payong, Johor

Must have own transport
