Job description

We are looking for a dedicated Account Executive to join the team at Sorento Sdn Bhd. As a key member of our Accounting department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the account accuracy and timeliness of our financial records and reporting. This is a full‑time position based in Bukit Raja, Selangor.

What you’ll be doing
  • Performing day‑to‑day bookkeeping tasks such as recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements
  • Processing invoices, expenses, and payments in a timely manner
  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Providing support to the Accounting team on various ad‑hoc projects and tasks
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations
  • Handling AR, AP, and GL
  • Managing treasury activities
  • Monitoring and preparing reports
  • Liaising with auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries when necessary
  • Performing any other ad‑hoc assignments as directed by a superior
What we’re looking for
