We are a professional association serving the rubber products manufacturing industry, dedicated to advancing the interests of our members through advocacy, events, and strategic initiatives. We are seeking a meticulous and responsible individual to join our Secretariat team as an Account Executive.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and handling a full set of accounts including daily account, bookkeeping accounts payable and receivable, e‑invoicing, payroll, end‑of‑month close, reporting and audit preparation.
- Preparation of periodic budget forecast and management of cash flow.
- Ensure operational compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Process invoices, upon registration and/or annually to members and responsible for the effective collection of the membership and/or annual subscription fees.
- Process payments to vendors, petty cash, or reimbursement claims from Management staff and committees ensuring verifications, and prior approval have been granted.
- Reconcile bank accounts and manage banking matters.
- Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Process payroll and report payroll taxes for the Association.
Administrative Duties
- Administrative functions of the Association including, but not limited to, the smooth running of Management Commission meetings, Sub‑Committee meetings, Annual General Meeting, etc.
- Maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems.
- Ensure compliance with Registrar of Societies (ROS) in terms of registration, update, and submission of annual documents and reports.
- Assist with the organising and management of Association’s events.
- Other duties may arise from time to time.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g. SQL, UBS, AutoCount, or equivalent) and Microsoft Office.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken).
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience in handling accounts for associations or non‑profit organizations will be an advantage.
