Qualifications
  • BSc/Ba in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
  • Qualifications (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) is a plus but not required
  • At least 3-5 Years’ experience as an account executive
  • Excellent organizing abilities
  • Great attention to details
  • Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
  • Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with people of all levels, and be a team player is essential
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Command of verbal and written Malaysian and English is essential
  • Good proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g., Auto count / MYOB)
Responsibilities
  • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded correctly
  • Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
  • Prepare TT/payment to vendors / Utilities/ CP204/WHT payment etc
  • Handle full set of accounting operations
  • To maintain proper accounting records and filing system
  • To ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial closing report and processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
  • To handle company SST report and payment by bimonthly
  • To ensure compliance & SST transaction improvement. Liaise with auditors/tax agents/secretaries/bankers on company related matters
  • Cash Flow management
  • Prepare audit/tax documents and promptly respond to the audit/tax queries, maintain documentary compliance with relevant standards & regulations
  • Monitor & update fixed asset listing and monthly cost of depreciation
  • Undertake any other ad-hoc accounting assignments
  • Prepare and monitor budget performance and provide updates to management on financial performance against budget
