Job summary

A financial services company located in George Town, Penang, is seeking an accounting professional to manage daily financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records. The ideal candidate holds a diploma in Accounting or Finance and is skilled in both SST and SQL Accounting Software. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, performing bank reconciliations, and supporting month-end activities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential. Qualifications

  • At least a diploma or relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of SST (Sales and Service Tax), SQL Accounting Software, and E-Invoicing will be an added advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Process and record daily financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and receipts.
  • Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and on time.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Prepare journal entries and assist in month-end closing activities.
  • Maintain proper financial records and filing systems.
  • Manage administrative matters, including general office and HR-related tasks.

Process and record daily financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and receipts.

Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and on time.

Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow to ensure financial accuracy.

Prepare journal entries and assist in month-end closing activities.

Maintain proper financial records and filing systems.

Manage administrative matters, including general office and HR-related tasks.

Undertake any other duties as assigned by direct superior and management from time to time.

Experience Requirements

At least a diploma or relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.

Knowledge of SST (Sales and Service Tax), SQL Accounting Software, and E-Invoicing will be an added advantage.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
