Job summary

A local consultancy firm in Petaling Jaya is seeking an entry-level accountant to maintain full sets of accounts and assist in monthly bookkeeping and payroll. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Accounting or ACCA and be fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin to cater to Mandarin-speaking clients. Fresh graduates and internship students are encouraged to apply. This role offers in-house training to ensure compliance with deadlines and financial standards.

Job description

Location: Dataran Sunway, Kota Damansara, Sunway Giza, Sunway Nexis (near Surian MRT station)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (9am to 6pm)

Accounting qualification: Degree in Accounting / ACCA / equivalent or higher qualification.

Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin (deal with Mandarin speaking clients)

Required skill(s): Have competent knowledge / good interpersonal skills / team player / self-motivated / ability to work independently / computer literate (especially in Microsoft Office and SQL Accounting Software)

Experience: Bachelor’s degree fresh graduates / internship students are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain full sets account, handle SST submission and handle E-Invoicing (training will be provided in-house)
  • Assist in monthly bookkeeping and payroll for both on-field and in-house
  • Ensure timely and quality of duties assigned
  • Ensure compliance to deadlines and statutory / financial standards
  • Provide advisory service and latest updates to our clients
  • Perform ad-hoc duties when assigned
