A technology solutions provider in Kuala Lumpur seeks an Accounting and Finance Assistant to support order management, accounting tasks, and communication with departments. The ideal candidate possesses a Professional Certificate or Diploma, has at least 2 years of experience in accounting, and is proficient in Google Workspace and accounting software. Strong English and Cantonese/Mandarin communication skills are required. This full-time position offers opportunities for professional growth and collaboration with various teams.
Check, validate, and process customer and supplier orders and invoices.
Collaborate closely with the Sales team on order management.
Understand bookkeeping procedures, including posting entries to ledger accounts, crediting and debiting accounts, and account reconciliation.
Research, track, and resolve (or upscale appropriately) accounting or documentation discrepancies.
Perform a variety of general accounting support tasks.
Demonstrated understanding of GST/SST regulations and eInvoicing processes.
Prepare and type various documents, reports, and records.
Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
Maintain regular communication with other departments (local and overseas) to exchange information and resolve transaction issues.
Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior from time to time.
