Job summary

A respected professional services firm in Ipoh is looking for an Account Assistant. In this full-time role, you will support clients with their accounting and financial management needs. Responsibilities include preparing full accounts, assisting in financial report processes, and executing accounting functions. Ideal candidates will have a Higher Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, excellent bookkeeping skills, and a team-oriented attitude. Mandarin skills are a plus for liaising with Chinese clients. Immediate start is advantageous.

  • Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
  • Good spoken and written English; Mandarin will be an added advantage.

In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients' accounting and financial management needs. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Preparing full set of accounts including General Ledger and necessary financial reports.
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports processes.
  • Execution of accounting functions including journals, accounting entries and etc. for month end closing reporting.
  • Preparation of schedules for management, audit, tax and various other purposes.
  • Prepare overall financial planning and analysis, consolidation of accounts, budgeting and cash flow forecasting.
  • Any Ad-hoc task given from time to time.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must possess at least Higher Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Accounting.
  • Fresh graduated are also encourage to apply.
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Excel & Word/ Preferably AutoCount/ Xero Accounting will be added advantage).
  • Good team player and willing to learn.
  • Analytical, resourceful, organised, able to work independently with minimum supervision and under tight deadlines.
  • Good spoken and written in English; Mandarin will be added advantage as need to liaise with Chinese clients.
  • Able to start work immediately will be ADDED ADVANTAGE.
