Job summary

A reputable engineering firm in Puchong is seeking an Accounting Assistant to manage full sets of accounts, perform daily bookkeeping, and assist in preparing management reports. The ideal candidate should be proficient in MS Office and able to communicate in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin. Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-year relevant experience preferred or fresh graduate.

Responsibilities

  • Handle full set of accounts.
  • Perform daily bookkeeping on accounts receivable/payable.
  • Prepare management reports and manage month-end close process.
  • Perform HR-related duties as assigned.

Responsibility
  • Handle full set of accounts
  • To perform daily bookkeeping activities on account receivable/payable and daily/monthly bank reconciliation
  • Perform Account Payable function, such as preparation of payment, reconciliation of suppliers’ accounts etc
  • Assist to prepare monthly and year end management reports.
  • Manage month end close process and ensure all journals, bank reconciliations, AR and AP
  • Perform HR related duties and support any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
