A leading company in the industry is looking for an Accounting Assistant to support daily accounting operations. Candidates should have a good command of Mandarin and English, with a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience.   • Assist the Account Head in daily accounting tasks and operations.
  • Prepare and input invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
  • Follow up on Accounts Receivable and Payable.
  • Assist in bank reconciliation and checking ledger entries.
  • Organize and file accounting documents.
  • Support month-end closing and tax documentation.
  • Handle data entry in the accounting system.
  • Coordinate with other departments on accounting-related matters.

Job description

Working hour: 8am~5pm
Language: Mandarin, English ( both oral and written)

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist the Account Head in daily accounting tasks and operations.
  • Prepare and input invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
  • Follow up on Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable to ensure timely collections and payments.
  • Assist in bank reconciliation and checking ledger entries.
  • Organize and file accounting documents for future reference or audit.
  • Support month-end closing, report preparation, and tax documentation under the guidance of the Account Head.
  • Handle data entry in the accounting system and perform general administrative duties.
  • Coordinate with other departments on accounting-related matters when necessary.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Accounting Systems such as SQL or other similar systems
  • Good command of Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.
  • Exposure in food and beverage operations is an added advantage
  • Team player with problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
