The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Materials Engineering and be willing to be trained in Integrated Lean Six Sigma systems. Responsibilities include optimizing process quality, reducing waste, and documenting results. This role demands strong analytical and project management skills in a collaborative work environment.

Job Description
  • Responsible for devising, implementing and monitoring error-proof devices in areas where opportunity is identified.
  • Recommend and document methods to improve efficiency, reducing waste in materials and equipment.
  • Apply, educate, promote, and spread culture in the use of lean manufacturing tools.
  • Active participation in LPA, QRQC & JOS.
  • Develop and apply quality techniques for troubleshooting to optimize process quality using lean manufacturing methodologies and Six Sigma.
  • Develop and document simulations to analyze the impact of improvements previously taken, if applicable.
  • Direct the planning and implementation of Kaizen related continuous improvement activities.
  • Document work done & results achieved.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Materials Engineering from an accredited university or college.
  • Permanently challenges the status quo understood as a day to day activity in the section.
  • Willing and desiring to be trained in Integrated Lean Six Sigma work systems.
  • Using lean tools, manage projects with no known solution.
  • Must possess good judgment, planning and analytical skills, with the ability to engage team members to support significant shop floor change.
