Job description
Overview

Senior Technician in Quality, based in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. Hands‑on role solving production quality issues and guiding new team members while improving processes and products.

Responsibilities
  • Conducts and reports in process and product first layer assessment.
  • Performs activities related to key process and product characteristics, giving feedback for improvements.
  • Supports and verifies identification and processing of internal non‑conforming materials for proper disposition.
  • Ensures implemented changes and corrective action to rectify non‑conformance issues are respected in the manufacturing line.
  • Actively participates in root cause analysis and solving problems.
  • Performs First Article Assessment activities.
  • Supports internal, industry and customer audits as required.
  • Supports continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes.
  • Supports and performs the RMA qual activities.
Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of quality and manufacturing standards.
  • Strong knowledge of computer applications and ability to perform tasks using Microsoft Word, Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of shop floor control and quality management documentation systems such as Spectrum Pro, EtQ.
  • Skills for evaluating, gathering data, diagnosing and solving problems encountered in the manufacturing.
  • Apply knowledge and understanding in quality improvements techniques.
  • Well organized.
