Title:Enterprise DevOps Engineer

Are you ready to take your skills to the next level as a self-motivated and enthusiastic Development and Operations Engineer with hands-on experience in cloud computing?

What You Will Do

Collaborate with software engineering to craft, automate, and deploy tools for measuring and improving productivity for Trimble engineering teams. Troubleshoot and resolve issues across all environments, while providing top-notch automated customer support. Act as a vital liaison between E-Tools and other engineering teams across the company, ensuring smooth operations. Maintain and optimize deployment, monitoring, and operations tools. Embrace a culture of automation and continuous improvement for enhanced support and development.

• Responding to and resolving service requests related to designated applications within defined SLAs.

• Troubleshooting and diagnosing application issues, escalating complex problems to senior engineers as needed.

• Coordinating with development and infrastructure teams to identify and implement solutions.

• Maintaining and updating documentation related to application support and troubleshooting procedures.

• Providing timely communication and updates to stakeholders regarding service request status.

• Participating in on-call rotations to provide after-hours support.

• Monitoring application performance and identifying potential issues proactively.

• Assisting in the deployment and configuration of application updates and patches.

• Identifying and recommending process improvements for service request management.

• Contributing to knowledge base articles and training materials for other support team members.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Engineering, or related field.

• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.

• Proficient in one or more scripting languages (ideally Python, Typescript or Go).

• Experience with Amazon Web Services (Azure or GCP also considered) is a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyse data and derive actionable insights.

• Experience using AI/ML to automate tasks and identify anomalies is a plus.

• Familiarity with AI-driven coding, monitoring, and troubleshooting tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Datadog AI) is a plus.

• Familiarity with project management tools is a requirement (e.g., Jira, Monday), system administration knowledge of these applications is a plus.
