The Service Technician will repair the equipment marketed by Reactivos y Equipos in Mexico following the quality standards established by Hach. They will maintain records of repair activities in the service system for reporting purposes and provide training to other service technicians.

This position is part of the Information Technology team, located in CDMX and will be on site.

Responsabilities:

• Repair customer equipment within the established time frame and according to the required quality standards.
• Follow work processes precisely (discipline in processes and standardization).
• Accurately and completely record all repair data for each unit in the system.
• Apply all mandatory modifications to the equipment as outlined in the company's established work processes.
• Assist and support the manager and supervisor in the development and strengthening of policies, procedures, work processes, and activities to control costs and improve productivity.
• Interact with internal and external customers to resolve issues related to the repair of their equipment.
• Act as backup for the lean service leader during their absence.
• Apply the 5S methodology in ALL work areas (mandatory).
• Develop and implement continuous improvements to facilitate daily work.
• Implement and use Lean Manufacturing methodology at all times.
• Provide training to new technicians or employees from different departments as required.
• Provide training to customers regarding the operation of their equipment.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineer
• Advanced degree or relevant certification (e.g., CTP) is a plus.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in similar equipment repairs
• Experience in repairing and servicing computer and electronic equipment.
• Knowledge of electronic circuits at the component level.
• Ability to read and understand electronic circuit schematics.
• Experience in repairing water quality-related equipment (desirable).
