Job summary
A financial solutions company is seeking a motivated Tax and Administrative Specialist. This fully remote role involves leading a team on tax engagements, preparing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, strong knowledge of tax regulations, and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced English is necessary. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm EST.
Qualifications
- Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Advanced tax planning, compliance, and tax research abilities.
- High attention to detail when reviewing complex tax returns.
- 3+ years of experience in tax preparation, planning, and review.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax research tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of accountants on tax engagements.
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Provide tax advice and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Stay updated on tax law changes and communicate impacts.
- Manage workflow and deadlines for all tax projects.
