At Envoy Global, our Global Program is expanding, and we are seeking an Immigration Director for the Latin America region who will be responsible for managing the regional immigration team. This role requires a high level of experience in people management, team development and change process implementation. The Immigration Director, LATAM is responsible for the profitability, margin and revenue for the practice.

This role is 100% remote, working from home within Mexico, ideally within the Mexico City area. Some travel may be required.

• Lead the LATAM region and drive the regional immigration program, focusing on the main countries in the region
• Advise strategy for complex matters
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
• Collaborate with Account Managers, Sales and Business Development teams to identify opportunities and grow the business
• Serve as point of escalation
• Communicate with immigration authorities to clarify guidance notes and update applications as needed
• Escalate applications when authorities fail to meet processing standards and withdraw applications or request refunds of government fees
• Manage the team’s continuing professional development and assess training requirements
• Review case assessments and initiations to ensure an optimal caseload
• Work with the leadership team on region structure and headcount resourcing
• Manage the P&L of the practice
• Advise changes to immigration rules to the news team and support ad hoc reporting

• Minimum 10+ years of immigration experience
• Minimum 5+ years of immigration manager experience in the LATAM region
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• Clear and effective communication skills
• Ability to manage a team
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize, manage and execute multiple tasks
• Oral and written proficiency in English
• Knowledge of Spanish and/or Portuguese is essential
