Financial Assistant: Detail‑Oriented A/P & Reporting Support
Job summary
A staffing agency is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Financial Assistant to join their finance team in Tijuana, Mexico. This role involves managing accounts, budgeting, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field and 1-3 years of experience in finance. Proficiency in Excel and accounting software is essential. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (or pursuing a degree).
- 1-3 years of experience in a financial or accounting role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Good understanding of financial principles and accounting procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the daily management of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies.
- Help prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist in preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Assist with tax filings and compliance-related matters.
- Support the finance team with the management of accounting software.
- Provide administrative support to the CFO.
