As a Supply Chain and Productivity Project Specialist (PS), you will lead project management practices and tools to develop challenging cost reduction ideas, including (but not limited to) QVE (Quality Value Engineering) and COS (Change of Supplier) projects within the North American region. The PS is responsible for establishing the overall benefits, expenses, and total cost of ownership for each idea, ensuring technical feasibility, and consolidating this information into a formal business case.
The Project Specialist must be an excellent communicator at all organizational levels, as they will present regularly to Senior Managers, Directors, and VPs. They need to be proactive, demonstrate strong leadership, be self-driven, and adapt to a dynamic, potentially geographically dispersed project environment.
The Project Specialist also fosters innovation and generates cost reduction ideas by participating in, preparing, and sometimes leading Productivity Workshop Events at North America's Schneider Electric manufacturing facilities.
They will gain extensive experience working on various products and commodities across all of North America's business scope.
