An automotive manufacturer in San Luis Potosí is seeking a Technical Development Lead for Electrical & Electronic systems. The successful candidate will ensure optimal functioning of E/E systems, manage calibration activities, and mentor team members to elevate their expertise. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field and 5+ years of experience in the automotive industry are required, along with strong documentation skills and proficiency in Business English. Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
  • 5+ years of work experience in the automotive or other manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in Electrical/Electronic operations.
  • Expert knowledge of measurement equipment and calibration methodologies.
  • Relevant certifications in High Voltage or calibration are highly valued.
  • Proven ability to lead functional teams and manage daily operations.
  • Strong ability to work independently and in a structured manner, with excellent documentation skills.
  • Business English.

Responsabilidades

What awaits you?

Your mission is to ensure the compliant and optimal functioning of all Electrical & Electronic systems, manage equipment calibration, and lead the technical development of your team.

  • Direct and oversee the daily operation of E/E systems, guaranteeing seamless functionality and strict adherence to safety, quality, and industry standards.
  • Assume full ownership for the planning, coordination, and execution of calibration activities across all E/E measurement instruments and equipment, ensuring the highest standards of timeliness and precision.
  • Ensure the accurate collection, recording, and detailed documentation of test data, maintaining unwavering traceability and quality control. Develop and deliver comprehensive, reliable reports and presentations for internal management and external stakeholders.
  • Manage maintenance activities for all E/E equipment, including routine servicing, calibration, troubleshooting, and necessary repairs, to ensure continuous and optimal performance.
  • Actively mentor and guide team members to elevate their expertise in E/E measurement, calibration, and system operations, fostering continuous development and knowledge growth to sustain technical excellence.
What should you bring along?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related technical field is required/preferred.
  • 5+ years of work experience in the automotive or other manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in Electrical/Electronic operations.
