Job Description
The job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Support for installation of machinery and equipment ensuring the correct operation of civil, mechanical and electrical matters related to site needs.
- Support & implementation of utilities cost reduction.
- Support & direct supervision for site expansion or capacity increase projects.
- Promote and support quality and environmental plant goals & targets.
- Support building improvements.
- Support for manufacturing and technical departments.
- Support HSE and plant security activities.
- Keep maintenance records, manage electronic data files, hard copies, and graphics as required.
- Participate in Bosch initiatives.
- Knowledge & application of HSE policies, including fulfilling legal and corporate requirements, safety procedures, and environmental and safety programs.
Ensure compliance with Quality principles.
• Promote and actively support Bosch Production System, involvement in System CIP Projects, Policy Deployment, and Teamwork.
• Responsible for following up on labor discipline of personnel under supervision.
• Know and apply EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) policies, including:
- Fulfilling legal and corporate requirements and regulations.
- Fulfilling safety procedures applicable to the area.
- Ensuring outsourced personnel under responsibility comply with internal regulations.
Participate in scheduled trainings and tests related to job risks, including:
- ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001 Management Systems Basic Concepts
- Safety Basics (Rules and Prevention)
- Emergency Response
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electromechanical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or comparable.
- Facilities management experience with electrical systems (high and medium voltage substations, generators & UPS units), HVAC equipment (RTU, AHU, Chillers, Boilers, BMS), and fire protection equipment.
- Building construction management and multi-project management skills.
- Knowledge of environmental safety codes.
- Proactive, team player, good communication skills in Spanish & English.
Additional Information
- Ability to work under pressure and strong problem-solving skills, especially related to HVAC.
- Strong preventive & corrective maintenance knowledge.
- Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.
- Focus on temperature & humidity control in a regulated environment, with strong escalations and customer complaints.
