A leading HVAC&R manufacturing company in Saltillo, Mexico, is seeking a Foreign Trade and Warehouse Management Specialist. This role involves managing warehouse operations, overseeing customs and import/export processes, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods. Ideal candidates have a degree in logistics and extensive experience in warehouse management and customs compliance. Fluency in Spanish is required, and proficiency in English or Chinese is a plus.

Formación

We are actively looking for a Foreign Trade and Warehouse Management Specialist who will be responsible for managing warehouse operations and supporting import & export activities in Mexico, ensuring efficient, safe, and compliant flow of goods, customs clearance, and trade-related operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in logistics, international trade, supply chain management, or a related field;
• 3+ years of experience in warehouse management and import/export operations;
• Familiarity with Mexican customs;
• Ability to independently handle customs declaration, tariffs, and warehouse operations;
• Fluent in Spanish with excellent communication skills in English or Chinese.

Desirable

• Background in multinational manufacturing, automotive parts, or high-tech industries;
• Familiarity with WMS/ERP systems such as SAP, INFOR, and Oracle;
• Experience managing teams or 3PL suppliers.

Responsibilities

Warehouse Management

• Responsible for daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, shipping, and inventory management;
• Develop and optimize warehouse management processes to ensure inventory accuracy of ≥ 98%;
• Coordinate internal and third-party logistics to ensure goods enter and exit the warehouse within specified time limits;
• Manage warehouse security and oversee the implementation of the DSS system and security procedures.

Import and Export Management

• Responsible for import and export operations, including document preparation, customs declaration, customs release tracking, and exception handling;
• Familiar with policies such as IMMEX, PROSEC, and the USMCA to ensure compliance with Mexican and international trade regulations;
• Monitor tariffs, certificates of origin, HS codes, and related tax policies to optimize costs;
• Liaise with customs, customs brokers, and freight forwarders to ensure efficient, legal, and smooth import and export operations.

Data and Compliance

• Regularly generate import, export, and inventory reports to support financial, tax, and compliance audits;
• Monitor the implementation of warehouse and import and export-related SOPs to identify and address risks.
