A leading maritime service provider in Jakarta seeks a Crewing Officer to manage recruitment and crew schedules. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies and at least 5 years of crew management experience. Key duties include coordinating crew changes, ensuring compliance with regulations, and communicating with crew members. Excellent English skills are required, along with proficiency in crewing software.
Handling the end-to-end recruitment process, including preparing and issuing employment contracts and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
Develop and maintain crew schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels for all vessels.
Coordinate crew changes, travel arrangements, and accommodations.
Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and company policies.
Maintain accurate records of crew certifications, training, and medical examinations.
Coordinate training programs and certifications for crew members.
Monitor crew performance and provide feedback for improvement.
Ensure crew members have access to necessary resources and support.
Act as the main point of contact between crew members and management.
Communicate updates, policies, and procedures effectively to the crew.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
