Job summary

A leading automotive firm in Indonesia seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design non-standard automated fixtures and tooling for body welding lines. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of welding fixture design experience and a strong understanding of mechanical design principles. This role requires proficiency in applicable software and the ability to assist in production and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in Mechanical Design, Automation, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 3 years of experience in welding fixture design.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles with familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Design non-standard automated fixtures, gauges, and hemming dies for body welding lines.
• Participate in 3D reviews and implement design modifications as needed.
• Assist in production and manufacturing of tooling fixtures and provide technical support.
• Track assembly, integration, and debugging of tooling fixtures; coordinate with other departments to resolve design issues.
