Job summary

- Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and schematics
- Basic soldering, crimping, and cable preparation
- Wiring control panels and electrical enclosures
- Safe use of hand tools and electrical testing equipment
- Working to IPC standards and quality procedures
- Pick‑and‑place machines
- Hand soldering, reflow ovens, and wave soldering machines
- Stencil printers
- Automated optical inspection systems
- X‑ray inspection machines
- In‑circuit testers
- Surface Mount Technology (SMT)
- Plated Through‑Hole (PTH)
- Hybrid assembly
- School leavers or college graduates
- Individuals looking to retrain into a technical career
- Candidates with hands‑on hobbies such as robotics, electronics, or DIY
- Genuine interest in electronics or electrical engineering
- Good attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Basic understanding of electrical components (preferred but not essential)
- GCSEs or equivalent in Maths, Science, or Technology subjects (preferred)
