A prominent water services company is seeking a Town Planning Technician to prepare responses to planning applications, liaise with stakeholders, and manage flood risk issues. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a detailed understanding of Flood Risk Management, and proficiency in IT systems. This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary range from £29,739 to £39,666, offering hybrid working options with benefits including an annual bonus and pension scheme.

Location: This role will initially be based in Bradford but we’re moving our office to Leeds Valley Park in Summer 2026, so you’ll be based there in the future (We offer hybrid working with typically one day in the office per week)
Work type: This is a permanent position, working 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday between a working window of 8:00am-6:00pm.

The Town Planning Development Team is responsible for responding to planning applications and local plan consultations from local planning authorities as well as direct approaches to Development Consent Order consultations.
