A Multi-Academy Trust in Nottingham is seeking a passionate Technology (Food) Technician. The role involves planning materials for teaching and supporting students in lessons. We are seeking to appoint an approachable and passionate Technology (Food) Technician. The successful candidate will be joining Bluecoat Trent Academy at an exciting time. We have moved to our brand new premises in September and have started our first Key Stage 4 cohort. An important part of the role will be to work with the Technology Department in setting up the Prep Rooms and establishing booking systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and preparing the materials and resources required by teaching colleagues in order that Technology can be taught in an applied way through the provision of practical work, experiments, and demonstrations. The post-holder will also be keen to be present in lessons, supporting practical work and working with children.
Archway Learning Trust, previously Bluecoat Academies Trust was formed in April 2014 as a result of the very long and successful history of Bluecoat Academy. We welcomed three further secondary schools in Derby to the Trust in 2021 and opened Bluecoat Trent Academy, a secondary Free School in Nottingham in September 2021.
