A recruitment agency is seeking a passionate Science Technician in Teesside. You will support science learning by preparing materials, assisting teachers, and ensuring a safe lab environment. The ideal candidate has experience in educational settings and a genuine interest in science education. This full-time role offers competitive daily pay from £100 to £120.

- Minimum of 6 months' experience in a school, laboratory, or education setting.
- Knowledge of basic science laboratory procedures and health & safety practices.
- Enhanced DBS (Child or Child & Adult Workforce), or willingness to apply.
Responsabilités
- Preparing and maintaining materials for science lessons and practical experiments.
- Assisting teachers in the delivery of science lessons.
- Maintaining accurate records of stock and equipment.

- Preparing and maintaining materials, equipment, and resources for science lessons and practical experiments
- Assisting teachers in the delivery of science lessons where required
- Ensuring all laboratories and equipment comply with health and safety standards
- Supporting students with practical work, experiments, and demonstrations
- Maintaining accurate records of stock, equipment, and chemicals
- Helping create a safe, organised, and stimulating learning environment
- Minimum of 6 months' experience in a school, laboratory, or education setting - UK experience essential
- Knowledge of basic science laboratory procedures and health & safety practices
- Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills
- Good communication skills and the ability to work with students and teaching staff
- A professional, reliable, and adaptable approach
- Enhanced DBS (Child or Child & Adult Workforce), or willingness to apply
- A genuine interest in supporting science education and student development
