A construction design firm in Liverpool is seeking a Designer to create masonry support systems. The role includes designing wall ties, lintels, and ensuring compliance with building regulations. Applicants should have experience in similar designs, proficiency in AutoCAD and Solidworks, and the ability to work independently. This position offers a salary between £30,000 and £40,000 plus a bonus and benefits such as 21 days annual leave and hybrid work options.

- Design masonry support systems for brickwork façades.
- Review architectural and structural drawings for support requirements.
- Produce clear design drawings for site installation.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and suppliers for solutions.
- Provide technical support to project and site teams.
Conhecimentos
Location: Liverpool
Remuneration: £30,000 - £40,000 + bonus

- Design masonry support systems such as wall ties, wind posts, lintels, cavity trays, brick soffit systems, brackets, angles, and ties for brickwork façades.
- Review architectural and structural drawings to define support requirements.
- Produce clear design drawings and technical details for site installation.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and suppliers to confirm solutions.
- Provide technical support to project and site teams.
- Ensure all designs meet building regulations and project specifications.
- Resolve site queries and coordination issues related to masonry support.
- Handle projects ranging from £5,000 to £500,000.
- Experience designing masonry support systems, including masonry, lintels, wall ties, wind posts, tension bars, steel beams, concrete reinforcement, concrete support systems, metal decking, rainscreen cladding, and anchors.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Solidworks software packages.
- Ability to work independently and hit the ground running.
