A healthcare organization in Tees Valley is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist for a fixed-term position within the community stroke rehabilitation team. This role offers opportunities for professional development supported by senior staff and is ideal for a registered therapist with a degree recognized by the RCSLT. Candidates with experience in dysphagia and communication rehabilitation are preferred. The post includes travel throughout the county and requires a Disclosure and Barring Service check.

TeamCDDFT speech and language therapy is pleased to advertise a fixed‑term Speech and Language Therapy Band 5 post within the community stroke rehabilitation team and voice team. The post offers development opportunities and will be supported by senior staff to ensure the successful applicant develops competencies that meet the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapy standards. The successful candidate will also benefit from the CDDFT Pre‑ceptorship programme.
We provide services from two acute sites – Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham – and from multiple community settings across County Durham and North East England.
This post requires a Disclosure and Barring Service check (formerly CRB) and a Disclosure Barring Service check, in accordance with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.

£31,049 to £37,796 a year, pro‑rate.
