A leading medical university in Lancaster is looking for a caring Physical Therapist for a PRN position. The role involves providing patient care through physical therapy evaluations and treatments, along with thorough documentation and patient education. Applicants must graduate from an accredited program and hold licensure from the relevant board. This position requires availability for at least one shift bi-weekly, and certification in Basic Life Support is essential.

Provides patient care which involves physical therapy evaluations and treatments following the established standard of practice. Providing patient care with various settings of the Physical Therapy department, initiated and complete physical therapy evaluation and treatment plan at first scheduled appointment, documents evaluations, treatment plans and daily progress notes, discharge summaries, exercise programs and patient/family education within 24 hours of each visit
This is a PRN as-needed position, you must be available to work at least 1 full shift bi-weekly, as needed according to departmental demands. You may be required to work additional hours if requested by your supervisor to accomplish work objectives. Work hours may vary (increase or decrease) depending on the needs of the unit.
Education: Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program
License/Certification: Licensure as a Physical Therapist by the South Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Examiners. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required before seeing patients.
