IT Support Engineer (1st Line) – Ownership & Growth
Job summary
A recruitment agency is seeking a 1st Line Support professional to join their team in Hinckley, UK. You will be the first point of contact for internal users, troubleshooting and resolving various IT issues. The role offers a supportive environment with opportunities for growth and development. Candidates should have over a year of experience in IT support, strong communication skills, and a basic understanding of networking. This is an onsite position with some shift work required.

- 12+ months of experience in an IT Helpdesk or 1st Line Support role is mandatory.
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP and networking is required.
- ITIL awareness is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Log, prioritise, and troubleshoot a range of issues.
- Support technologies across Azure Cloud and CISCO networking.
- Escalate issues to 2nd and 3rd line support as necessary.
- Deliver high-quality service aligned to SLAs.
- Gain exposure to group-wide IT projects and training.
