Astute's Power team is partnering with an Electrical sub-contractor to recruit a Polish speaking Site Manager to oversee the Electrical works on an initial 8 month contract for its Scotland site.
The Site Manager role comes with a rate of £400-£500 per day.
- Act as the main site contact for all electrical subcontractors and interface with the project management team.
- Ensure electrical works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant legislation and standards.
- Manage day-to-day site activities of electrical subcontractors, ensuring adherence to programme and work scopes.
- Monitor progress against the project schedule and resolve issues that could cause delays or rework.
- Ensure quality control through regular inspections, snagging, and liaison with the commissioning team.
- Coordinate electrical interfaces with other disciplines including civil, mechanical, and control systems.
- Maintain detailed site records including daily progress reports, permits to work, toolbox talks, and incident reports.
- Lead and promote a positive health and safety culture on site; conduct site inductions and regular safety audits.
- Liaise with the client, main contractor, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Support commissioning and handover activities, ensuring as-built documentation and test results are correctly compiled and submitted.
