Radiology Clinical Site Lead - EH & CDC

We seek to recruit a motivated and dynamic Radiology Clinical Site Lead covering Ealing Hospital and the Community Diagnostic Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the hospital site imaging department, working closely with the clinical superintendent, lead radiographers within the radiology department, and the directorate management team.

Main duties of the job
  • Provide clinical leadership to the Allied Health care professionals to provide a high standard service delivery for the Directorate.
  • Provide support and deputise as required for the Head of Diagnostic Imaging and represent the Directorate at Trust and ICS Imaging network
  • Responsible for the operational delivery, performance and governance for the services.
  • Work with the Head of Diagnostic Imaging to lead directorate teams to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of high-quality patient-centered services, service development, and change programmes that drive innovation and integration, modernisation, and high levels of staff and patient satisfaction.

Education/ Qualifications
  • BSc or equivalent in Diagnostic Radiography (I)
  • Post Graduate Study and equivalent experience to Masters level.
  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Masters degree/ qualification in healthcare or management OR demonstrable ability to work at Masters level with equivalent experience
  • Leadership Development Programme
Knowledge & Experience
  • Extensive experience of managing and imaging
  • Significant experience of budget management
  • Experience of leading on HR disciplinary processes management
  • Current knowledge of NHS and local modernisation agendas
Skills, Abilities and Attributes
  • Ability to lead and develop Imaging Services at a strategic level Computer Literate
  • Data collation, interpretation and presentation skills
  • Leads by example, promoting the highest standards of personal and professional conduct and integrity
  • Well-developed IT skills to manage and report on complex performance management information
