A community support charity in Coventry is seeking a Recovery Motivator to support individuals transitioning into long-term recovery. You will create an ambitious user-friendly culture and engage with volunteers. This role requires a compassionate communicator who is flexible and has a passionate commitment to recovery. The position offers 25 days of annual leave, a contributory pension scheme, and opportunities for career development, while working full-time in a supportive environment.

As Recovery Motivator at Change Grow Live you will support the delivery of high quality service provision by creating an ambitious service user focussed culture and engaging staff to provide a continually improving and innovative service. The Recovery Motivator role is designed to enable ‘first steps into employment’ and will be based within the Substance Misuse Setting. We currently have a role available within our service- based in Coventry.
Recovery Motivator is anticipated to be people who are themselves in recovery in respect of drug or alcohol use or people who have experience of living with drug or alcohol misuse within their family, who would like others to benefit from their experience.
Recovery Motivator will work with those who are directly impacted by their own drug or alcohol misuse and the people who care for them, family members and friends; as well as working with key partners to empower communities.

Where: Coventry
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £25,077.00 per annum dependent on experience (based on full time working hours, pro rata for part time)
Contract Type: Fixed Term until 31-Mar-2028
*Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
