A local care provider in Scotland seeks a Personal Care Assistant to support Jack, a young individual with a neurological disability. Responsibilities include personal care, medication management, and facilitating his participation in various activities. Candidates must be outgoing, possess excellent communication skills, and have relevant care experience, particularly with autism and ADHD. A Full UK Manual Driving Licence is essential. The role offers guaranteed hours each week, contributing positively to Jack's daily living and wellbeing.
Jack, a 22‑year‑old with a lively, fun personality, has a neurological disability and lives in the Airdrie area. He enjoys a good laugh, music, comedy shows and favours visiting animal parks such as Deep Sea World, Blair Drummond Safari Park and Edinburgh Zoo.
Guaranteed permanent position of 33 hours per week.
Mon to Fri: 11:00 am – 4:00 pm
Saturday or Sunday: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm (weekends to be confirmed and discussed at interview)
Hourly Rate: £13.00 per hour
