Job summary
A leading agricultural research organization is seeking a motivated Field Trials Technician based in Hatching Green. This full-time position offers a starting salary of £23,493 per annum and a chance to gain valuable field trials experience in a supportive environment. The role requires practical agricultural skills, but training will be provided. Applications are welcome from candidates with the legal right to work in the UK.

- Operate tractors and loaders efficiently.
- Assist with field trials equipment management.
- Perform basic maintenance on machinery.

The Research Farms team in Harpenden are recruiting for a Field Trials Technician.

Ideally you will have some practical experience working on a farm or with agricultural field trials, however training will be provided. This is a great chance to make a start in the industry with all-round experience in both commercial farming and field trials experience.
You will get to develop skills and knowledge in the areas of:
- tractor driving
- loader driving
- field trials equipment
- machine operation
- basic machinery maintenance
This full-time post is for a 1 year fixed term period. A starting salary from £23,493 per annum for a 37 hour week (seasonal overtime applies).
There is also the opportunity of rental properties in close proximity to the farm, and we can assist in pursuing this option.
