An exciting opportunity has recently become available for a Clinical Application Specialist – General Imaging Ultrasound to join our Ultrasound team.

Whether coming from a clinical background or having transitioned into the commercial sector, your clinical experience in General Imaging and customer-centric approach will be highly valued.

In this role, you will significantly contribute to growing our General Imaging Ultrasound business, enhancing customer satisfaction and after-sales support by demonstrating Philips Cardiac Ultrasound products and training users to ensure full understanding of the equipment. You will engage with a broad range of stakeholders and customers, playing a pivotal role in our Ultrasound business success.

This position covers the South West & Wales territory, is field-based, and requires willingness to travel and support team members. If you are not currently located in this territory, relocation plans are necessary.

You will be part of a team of 15 ultrasound clinical application specialists, reporting to the Business Line Manager, with additional support from the Ultrasound Clinical Applications team leader.

1. Demonstrate General Imaging ultrasound products at customer sites, hospitals, conferences, and exhibits, supporting sales specialists to showcase equipment effectively.
2. Manage post-sales customer training at client sites and Philips customer optimization days.
3. Follow training schedules for the full range of equipment and train customers, providing formal reports after each visit.
4. Maintain contact with existing users to ensure ongoing satisfaction and confidence in Philips Ultrasound equipment.
5. Ensure all clinical training aligns with the company's Quality Policy.
6. Provide feedback to management regarding system performance, competitors, customer reactions, and sales initiatives.
7. Liaise with the Product Management Group's applications team to stay updated on the latest US information, attending international meetings as appropriate.
8. Support courses delivered by key accounts and customers.
9. Assist the Business Line Manager with marketing, sales, and promotion activities, providing specialist support to account managers when needed.

• You hold a full UK driving license and are willing to travel extensively.
• You have completed postgraduate studies in Sonography or Clinical Science.
• You are a member of the British Society of Echocardiology.
• You possess in-depth clinical experience in General Imaging.
• You are capable of training others on Ultrasound equipment.
• You have excellent communication skills and are a positive relationship builder.
