Job description

Overview

The Research Farms team in Harpenden are recruiting for a Field Trials Technician.

Are you a go-getter? Are you organised and a good communicator? Do you want to contribute to Rothamsted's world leading science? If so, we want to hear from you!

Ideally you will have some practical experience working on a farm or with agricultural field trials, however training will be provided. This is a great chance to make a start in the industry with all-round experience in both commercial farming and field trials experience.

You will get to develop skills and knowledge in the areas of:

Position Details

This full-time post is for a 1 year fixed term period. A starting salary from £23,493 per annum for a 37 hour week (seasonal overtime applies).

There is also the opportunity of rental properties in close proximity to the farm, and we can assist in pursuing this option.
