Overview

Job opportunity with Survey Design Services. Experienced CAD Technician. Job Description: Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced, motivated and committed individual to join our Land Survey team based at our North Kent office. As a CAD Technician, you will be joining a CAD team in our Faversham office working as part of a multidiscipline survey team to ensure that professional drawings are delivered punctually and to a high quality. The role will be predominantly office based at our office in Faversham but may require the occasional site visit. You will also be working on a variety of projects ranging from large-scale highway surveys to smaller one-off construction projects. Working in a variety of sectors such as, Highway, Drainage, Commercial, Residential, Healthcare, Education, Leisure and more.

Qualifications
  • Proficient in AutoCAD & Revit
  • Experience using point clouds
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Be computer literate in MS Office suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Have the ability to work well in a team and to work on their own initiative
  • Have a keen interest in Civil Infrastructure and buildings
  • Be confident in liaising with all levels of management both internally and externally
  • Understanding and experience of Modelling from Scan Data would be advantageous
Experience

For this position the ideal candidate will have previous experience working with survey outputs and will be proficient in AutoCAD & Revit. It is also important that the right candidate for this role has great communication skills, strong design abilities as well as previous experience of successfully being able to work to deadlines, while still producing a high-quality of work.
