A leading healthcare provider in Cardiff seeks a Specialist Dietitian to manage and coordinate a weight management service. This role involves operational management of a team, collaborating with healthcare specialists, and ensuring service delivery objectives are met. The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree, have experience in clinical settings, and possess strong leadership and communication skills. The position offers £48,527 to £55,532 a year pro rata and requires HPC registration.

Specialist Area – Complex Obesity. To further develop, manage and co‑ordinate a community dietetic service for a defined specialist client group, Level 2 and Specialist Weight Management. Clinical work will involve working closely with an MDT comprising Medical, Nursing, Psychological, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy specialties.
The role includes operational management of a Level 2 team of specialist Dietitians and Health Care Support Workers, shared with the Diabetes Specialist Team Leader to provide the Chronic Conditions Management Community Service. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
