This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-respected independent insurance business with numerous branches around the North Yorkshire and County Durham area. Having been established for many years, our client has a solid business with a quality loyal client base.

In this role you will join an excellent friendly and professional team and have the opportunity to be involved in a number of different areas. You will work with existing clients, providing support and advice, making policy amendments etc. You will be providing quotations on new business enquiries and have lots of involvement in client’s policy renewals. You will also be on hand to assist clients with their claims.

Although the majority of client dealings will focus on general commercial insurances, there will also be associated private clients including household and motor, some medium and high net worth and some specialist risks such as farm and agriculture and other specialist schemes.

In this role, there is a big emphasis on providing an exceptional level of customer service. The client base is loyal and longstanding; this has been achieved based on the high quality of customer service provided.

In terms of career progression, our client is keen to promote from within and can provide an environment where you can feel supported to develop over the longer-term. CII studies will be fully supported and there will be plenty of ongoing training to ensure that your technical knowledge is constantly improving.

Although we would prefer applicants to have previous insurance experience, we are also happy to hear from those of you with advanced customer service experience developed in other professional sectors.
