Job description

Our client is a well-established, award-winning landscaping business with over 50 years experience. They are looking for a hands-on Team Leader for a garden maintenance team. You ll lead a small team, deliver high standards of garden care, and be the face of service excellence for their clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support a garden maintenance team, ensuring jobs are delivered to the highest standard.
  • Coordinate daily workload, engage with clients, and ensure teams are equipped and scheduled efficiently.
  • Monitor the team s performance, quality of work, and punctuality; maintain high standards of service and client satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain tools, equipment and materials; ensure safe and compliant site operations.
  • Provide on-site leadership, support and guidance to the team to motivate and deliver results.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Proven experience in garden maintenance, horticulture or landscaping.
  • Strong leadership attributes with experience supervising or supporting a team.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Good knowledge of plant care, garden machinery and maintenance best practices.
  • Able to work outdoors, in varying conditions, and committed to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Able to drive a large van and operate machinery
  • Have or obtain a PA1 / PA6 spraying certificate
  • Full UK driving licence.
Salary and Benefits
