Job summary
A busy civils client based in Co. Down is seeking a Health & Safety Manager to enhance Health & Safety coordination across their construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a NEBOSH certification and a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, ensuring compliance with safety legislations and managing safety procedures effectively.

- Able to manage a Health & Safety team.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the company’s Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Coordinate all Health & Safety activities on various sites.
- Ensure all accidents/incidents are dealt with appropriately.

Health & Safety Manager
Location: Down

INFORM3 are currently recruiting a Health & Safety Manager for a busy civils client to cover construction projects based in Co. Down. They are looking a candidate to contribute to the Health & Safety coordination across the organisation, and in addition support and develop their policies to reduce potential risks.
The successful candidate will be NEBOSH Certified with a minimum of 5 years’ experience performing in a similar role within the construction sector.
Health & Safety Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the company’s Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Develop all Health and Safety plans to align with current legislations
- Coordinate all Health & Safety activities on various sites
- Manage and coordinate Health & Safety Officers and Advisors
- Ensure that regular Site Visits and Inspections are completed and the relevant paperwork is completed
- Ensure that all accidents / incidents are dealt with appropriately and plans are made to avoid these situations
- Liaise with internal and external auditors in regards to Health & Safety processes within the company
- Prepare and coordinate training for all employees
- Attend meetings with Senior Management
- Attend Site Meetings
- Ensure at all times that extremely high standards are maintained throughout the company
Health & Safety Manager Specification:
- Health and Safety Degree or Qualification
- 5 years plus experience in a similar position
- Able manage a Health & Safety team
- Excellent communicator
- NEBOSH Cert
- Confident in the use of Microsoft Office
- Full driving licence
