MET Technician
Job summary
A leading staffing solutions provider in Brompton is seeking a skilled MET Technician / Strip Fitter to repair damaged vehicles to manufacturer specifications. You will operate within a modern Bodyshop, following repair techniques and striving for customer satisfaction. This role offers a competitive salary range of £45,000 - £50,000, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Recognized apprenticeship as a MET Technician / Strip Fitter.
- Previous experience in a busy body shop.
- Ability to work to the highest standard.
Responsibilities
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre.
- Follow correct repair techniques.
Skills
Education
OTE: £55,000
Basic Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 5.30pm
Location: Gillingham
Talented and efficient MET Technician/ Strip Fitter to join this leading team. As a MET Technician / Strip Fitter, you will be repairing damaged vehicles in line with the manufacturers' specifications within a state-of-the-art Bodyshop, utilising modern equipment and techniques.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre.
- Follow the correct repair techniques and produce work in line with factory specifications and customer satisfaction.
- You will have served a recognised apprenticeship as a MET Technician / Strip Fitter and gained a technical qualification (such as NVQ / VCQ / SVQ / ATA).
- You must have previous experience working as a MET Technician / Strip Fitter within a busy body shop and be a strong team player with a self-motivation to earn bonus hours.
- You will work to the highest standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.
