Overview

What you'll be doing
  • Join the Customer Support team, contributing to the development and delivery of Aerospace Maintenance Data, ensuring airworthiness compliance requirements are met.
  • Assist in the creation, review, and delivery of technical data to meet customer requirements.
  • Support the development of Interactive Electronic Technical Publications (IETPs).
  • Participate in shop-floor activities to verify that maintenance instructions are clear, accurate, and user-friendly.
  • Gain experience across multiple functions including:
    • Design – understanding how equipment is developed.
    • Product Support Engineering – learning how in-service issues are resolved.
    • Customer Support Centre – engaging with customer queries and requirements.
    • Production & Assembly – understanding how equipment is manufactured and assembled.
    • Quality – ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
    • MRO Operations – observing overhaul and repair activities.
  • Work alongside experienced engineers to ensure technical documentation is accurate, compliant, and customer-focused.
  • Year 1: Time at a private local engineering training provider to deliver and assess relevant qualification units.
  • Year 2-3: Delivered within Safran to achieve a Level 3 Diploma, with time allocated to work in different departments according to training needs.
Requirements
  • 5 GCSEs, grades 9–5, or A*–C (including English, Maths and Science)
  • An interest in engineering from school, hobbies, or other experiences

  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
