Salary & Hours

Salary: £25,375 per annum. Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm).

About the Role

Technical Assistant role at Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead. You will support the Biomedical Engineering team in maintaining and managing vital medical equipment in a hospital environment.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) on biomedical devices (with full training provided).
  • Assist in maintaining service documentation and asset data.
  • Support the team in scheduling and managing workloads.
  • Ensure all maintenance and administrative tasks meet company quality and safety standards.
  • Work closely with engineers, customers, and subcontractors to deliver excellent service.
Qualifications
  • No prior experience required – full training will be provided.
  • Good organisational and communication skills.
  • Strong commitment to quality and safety.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving licence.
